The Clurasense Weather Station

A self-powered, zero-impact monitoring station built for agrivoltaics.

Each station carries up to 6 sensors measuring 12 environmental parameters, in a rugged, energy-autonomous unit anchored without concrete. Stations work in pairs — one under the panels, one in the open field — to quantify the agrivoltaic effect.

The Clurasense Weather Station

Master station

The gateway. It aggregates data from nearby slave stations over 868 MHz radio and sends it to the cloud via 4G/LTE.

Slave station

The field unit. It collects sensor data under the panels or in the open field and relays it to the master over radio.

From field to cloud

Sensors → Slave station → (868 MHz radio) → Master station → (4G/LTE) → AgriLink cloud

Our components

Advanced technology for complete monitoring of environmental and soil conditions.

Battery

Long-life LiFePO4 battery ensuring 24/7 operation even during cloudy periods.

Irradiation Sensor

High-precision sensor for measuring solar irradiance behind the module and in the open field.

Wind Sensor

Real-time monitoring of wind speed and direction.

Soil Sensor

Multi-depth probe measuring soil moisture, temperature, and salinity (EC).

Humidity, Temp & Pressure

Integrated environmental module for precise micro-climate data collection.

Rain Sensor

Optical rain gauge providing accurate precipitation data without moving parts.

Solar Panel

High-efficiency photovoltaic module powering the station independently.

Control Box

IP67-rated enclosure housing the edge computing processor and connectivity modules.

Leaf Wetness Sensor

Detects surface moisture on foliage to predict disease risks and irrigation needs.

Built for 20 years in the field

100% solar powered

Integrated photovoltaic and long-life battery — no grid connection required.

Zero-impact anchoring

Geotechnical screw foundations, no concrete — fully reversible with no trace left on the soil.

Triple data backup

20 years of data on the master's SD card, mirrored to the cloud, plus a physical backup.

Flexible connectivity

4G/LTE by default, with LoRa or wired LAN available per site.
